Of these two you will, in my opinion, be much happier in Chamonix. Much more lively than Zermatt. We enjoyed a nice trail walk with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn while in Z. but other than that the town is rather lifeless compared to C. Worth a visit for a view of the Matterhorn but still overpriced. Never been to St. Moritz.
The Glacier Express starts in St. Moritz and finishes in Zermatt (or the other way around, depending on the direction in which you are travelling). During the course of its 300km journey, the Glacier Express travels through three different cantons of Switzerland – Valais, Uri and Graubünden – and seven stations between Zermatt and St. Moritz: Arrival at ST. Moritz, and short visit of the city - Located in the Upper Engadine and built in the IXX century, St. Moritz is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. Elegance and exclusivity characterize this town located at 1856 m. of altitude in the middle of the magnificent landscape of the Engadine lakes. Ride the St. Moritz-Celerina Olympia Bob Run. If you are an adrenaline junkie visiting St. Moritz, taking a ride on the one natural bobsled run in the world must be on your bucket list. Coincidentally, the St. Moritz-Celerina Olympia Bob Run is also the oldest one in the world.
Is St. Moritz worth visiting? Absolutely! St. Moritz is a captivating blend of natural beauty and luxury, offering visitors a unique mix of alpine adventures, world-class events, and high-end experiences. It’s well worth a visit for several reasons: Winter Sports: St. Moritz is renowned for its winter sports. The town has hosted the Winter

Day 8-9: St. Moritz (2N) Day 10: Zurich (1 N) We don’t ski but we are interested in snow hike, other snow activities and sight seeing. Please help to recommend activities that we could do and where. Are the restaurants and establishments open in early April? Is St. Moritz worth visiting? Thank you in advance:)

St. Moritz village is quite small so you can walk to many places. But if you want to visit the lower part of St.Moritz (St.Moritz Bad) or venture out to some of the mountain peaks, I recommend using public transportation. There are buses traveling between St.Moritz village, St.Moritz Bad, and all other villages in the area.
